I’ve been on a work out routine for 1.5 months and doing 45 min cardio and weight lifting 3 times a week. I have seen loss in size (inches), but not weight. I know you gain muscle, which messes with what you see in fat loss on the scale. So, I am wondering when this balances out. I go to a tiny gym and have to trainer to help tell me how many pounds of muscle I’ve gained. Any estimation would be helpful to motivate me.

a normal person can put on 5-15 pounds of muscle per year depending on your body type and workouts, as for weightloss you should probally count your own calories and the ammount of calories you burn during your cardio, you need to use up approximately 3500 calories to lose a pound of bodyfat so jsut try to work that by finding out how much calories you need to consume per day(bei scales can do that for you) and then count your calories that you burn that are extra compared to that number from the bei scale and you can usually find out how much calories you burn per day with that and just take 3500 divided by that number to find out how many days it takes you to safely lose a pound of bodyfat.

Hey, well a lot of people don’t “see” there weight loss results until A whole 2 – 3 months! It sounds like a long time but it will be worth it in the long shot. Trust me, don’t take pills or other short cuts to weight loss. It really is worth it if you take it by working out. I hope i helped!

As a result of weights you gain muscles. I suggest if you really wanna see good results do lots of cardio and stamina workout. after you lose sufficient weight then you start toning.
