For most people, weight control will only happen with insulin control.  Bottom out your insulin levels, keep them from fluctuating by restricting carbs in your diet, and you&#039;ve found the key to permanent weight control.  Most people know this as the Atkins diet. I take it one step further - I don&#039;t eat any carbs - none until I am doing strenuous exercise. By strenuous, I mean greater than running 10-12 miles, greater than swimming 2 miles.  Then I use carbs in very controlled doses to fuel my workouts.  But for anything less strenuous than that, you don&#039;t need carbs if you are fat-adapted.

Eat only animal products for a couple of weeks and you won&#039;t believe the results. My diet is currently about 70-80% fat and 20-30% protein. Very few carbs except during workouts.  I have maintained my weight for 15 years eating this way. I&#039;m in the best shape of my life. The body always burns carbs (glucose) before dipping into its fat stores. Therefore, if you don&#039;t fuel your body with carbohydrates, you&#039;ll go straight for the fat stores and burn your body fat all day long.  I never have mood swings or blood sugar fluctuations causing intense cravings or hunger. And I have enormous energy. 

Try it for two weeks. It will work for everybody. It&#039;s textbook physiology.  

Just my 0.02. An alternative to Handle. :)</description>

		<description>low carb diets  r pretty good, try to limit your pasta and bread and potato intake. watch your fruits because some have to much natural sugars in them, 2 apples a day, boiled eggs and loads and loads of water! protein wise have one portion a day the size of your palm and thickness. good luck.</description>
